TIRED OF THE DEBT?! Don’t miss Financial Peace University! During this life-changing course, you will learn: to put together a monthly spending plan that really works, the step-by-step process for getting out of debt for good, how to set financial goals and really communicate about money and much more! There will be two classes to choose from: The classes start on Sunday, January 4th at 6:30 and Tuesday January 6th at 7:00 pm. MISSIONS TRIP FOR ALL AGES: Do you have a week to give up to the Lord’s service this summer? If so, we invite you to come hear about some missions opportunities (domestic and foreign) at a meeting on Sunday, January 4th immediately following the worship service. Bring a sack lunch! YOUTH LEADER NEEDED: Cornerstone is in need of a Youth Leader for Middle School Sunday evening Youth Group. If you are interested or would like to find out more, call Karen Miller at 884-4025.

NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN: The women’s Sunday School class is beginning a study of 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon. The format for the 8 week class will include DVD teaching one week during class time, then participants will have and opportunity to complete a lesson during the week and then share their insights in the classtime discussion the subsequent week. If you would like the book for the course, please make a note on your Connection Card on Sunday morning. _____________
SMALL GROUP UNIVERSITY: If you are currently serving as a small group host or leader or are interested in serving in the future, you are invited to participate in Small Group University. This is part of our leadership development process and designed to be a valuable growth experience. The next Small Group U will be Saturday, January 10. A light breakfast will be served at 8:45 and the session is from 9:00-11:00 am. Childcare is available by reservation. Please RSVP to Peggy Heid 380-2190.

LORD’S SUPPER CHANGE: The Lord’s Supper in 2009 will be celebrated on the second Sunday or the month instead of the first Sunday of each month. January 11th will be the first communion of the year.
