Special Announcements

NOTES ABOUT SUNDAY’S SERVICE:   We wanted to mention two items for your attention for about this Sunday morning at Cornerstone.  First of all, we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper during the morning worship service.    Secondly, there will be a very short business meeting immediately following the service regarding the new Ministry Shepherds for the coming church year.

HAITI NEEDS:  We recently received word from a doctor at Mission of Hope that there are some items they could use in their clinic in Haiti.  The list included:  small baggies; HP printer ink 60; Deep Cold or other muscle creams; Visine type eye drops; and infant formula.  If you have been wanting to participate in the mission trip in some way, here is something very tangible you could do that would bring some comfort to someone’s life hundreds of miles away.   If you would like to help, please be sure you have your items here by Sunday, June 21st

WORLDS OF FUN!!  On Saturday, July 18th, from 9:30 a.m. to midnight, Worlds of Fun is hosting an event called “Heartfest”, which includes a concert by Third Day.  Calvin and Traci Weibling are planning to go, and would like to invite the youth group and any adults who would like to join them to come along!  If they order tickets by June 19th, they can get a group rate, so they need to know as soon as possible if you would like to come.  If you are interested, contact the church office at 380-2422.

CORNERSTONE CONNECT:  If you are a newcomer to Cornerstone, we invite you to take a closer look at our church by attending “Cornerstone Connect” right after the service this Sunday, June 14th.  This special pizza luncheon gives you insight on Cornerstone’s vision, values, and the opportunities available to you.  This informal time is also great for getting acquainted with others and with the church leadership.  We hope to see you there!
