Special Announcements
WAY TO GO, KID’S TIME CHURCH!! The kids, helpers, and teachers in Kid’s Time Church raised $1200 to give to the Haiti mission trip, which is enough money to cover the entire cost of sending one person on the trip! Individual children did a variety of things from lemonade stands to garage sales to chores at home to be able to contribute. Praise God for giving them the grace and strength to give to Him in this way!
CAMP KIDZ QUEST: If you are planning to attend Camp Kidz Quest, don’t forget the registration deadline is June 30. There is information about the camp on the table in the Commons.
UPCOMING SPEAKERS: For the next few weeks, Pastor Tom will be gone attending the EFCA National Leadership Conference and then on vacation with his family. In his absence, we will be privileged to hear messages from several men in our body: June 28 – Mark Gassman; July 5 – Joe Chenoweth; and July 12 – Mark Lockard.
WORLDS OF FUN!! On Saturday, July 18th, from 9:30 a.m. to midnight, Worlds of Fun is hosting an event called “Heartfest”, which includes a concert by Third Day. Calvin and Traci Weibling are planning to go, and would like to invite the youth group and any adults who would like to join them to come along! If we have a group of 15 or more, we can get the group rate of $34.99. Please contact the church office at 380-2422 by June 28 if you would like to go.
TEEN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Julie Hicks is looking for some teens to volunteer in the Alliance office for the next month or so helping put some information into excel spreadsheet format. She could use help for a few hours on either Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. This work can be counted toward community service hours for the A+ scholarship program. If you are interested, please contact the church office at 380-2422.
AN EVENING OF MUSIC, COMEDY AND MAGIC: On Saturday, July 11, at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone, we will be treated to an evening of entertainment by Larry DeLawder. He is known for his hilarious impersonation of Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith show, but he is also a very talented musician, singer, and song writer. Not only that, but our own Nick Pierce will be there to amaze us with his magical talents! And all of this will be preceded by an ice cream social at 6 p.m. (Note time change.) This is a great event to invite family and friends to attend. There is no admission fee, but a love offering will be taken. Note: There is a sign-up sheet in the commons for volunteers to bring ice cream or toppings for the ice cream social. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!

Word for the Week
“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me,– put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
“He who will not command his thoughts will soon lose command of his actions.”
Bulletin Bloopers
“The music for today’s service was all composed by George Frederick Handel in celebration of the 300th anniversary of his birth.”
