Words from Tom
My heart—a place where Jesus is at home? We’ve been looking at this idea for the summer, going room by room, seeing what needs to happen in each room so that our Lord will be at home. Paul put it this way: “…, that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in.” (Message, Eph. 3:17) We have work to do, making time, feeding our minds, watching what we eat and where we go, working out and cleaning out our “stuff” all for Him. Today, we will wrap up this series by looking at the rooms again and drawing an application for each. Hopefully God will tap us on the shoulder for the room in our lives that needs the most work. Which one is mine, which one is yours? Let’s be open to what God wants to do in us so that He can work through us, maybe on our front porch?
