CHURCH OFFICE CLOSING EARLY: The church office will be closing at noon on Friday because Pastors Tom and Joe will be in Nebraska attending the Midwest Regional EFCA Conference, and Pam will be leaving early for the Women’s Retreat. While Tom and Joe are gone, Bryan Gilbert will be available if you are in need of pastoral care. He can be reached at 769-3565.
TRANSPORTATION FOR THE WOMEN’S RETREAT: Ladies, if you are attending the Women’s Retreat, you should receive an email today with some important reminders and also with details about transportation. Be sure to read through the email carefully and respond to Donna Drummonds with the information requested. Thank you!!
MEALS FOR HAITI: This weekend, the Salvation Army is having a community event to package one million meals for the earthquake survivors in Haiti. This is taking place at The American Royal Center, Governor’s Expo from 12-8 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday. If you have questions or would like to sign up to volunteer, you can go to www.salarmy-mokan.org or contact Betsy A. Baird at 816-968-0374.
FOOD PANTRY: It’s Cornerstone’s turn to serve at the Food Pantry on Friday, March 5th, between 1:45 and 5:30 p.m. If you are available to help, please contact Doris Friesen at 808-2929.

Angel Food Distribution: Saturday, February 27th, from 8-9 a.m.
12th Midwest Christian Education Expo: There will be a FREE Christian Education Expo on Saturday, March 6th, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall, in Kansas City, MO. There will be 50 colleges, 35 K-12 schools, and Missouri and Kansas Homeschool organizations represented. Seminars will be held throughout the day dealing with education options, homeschooling, and financial aid. If you are interested, there are flyers on the information table by the kitchen with more information.
