ADULT SUNDAY MORNING SMALL GROUPS: Below are listed the Sunday morning small groups that will be starting April 11th and lasting through July 4th. If you are interested in The Good and Beautiful Life, the class on I Corinthians, or The Case for Christ, please reply to this email and let us know which one so we can order you the book that goes with that class.
First Steps — This group is designed to help you get started in your Christian life. See what a difference having a life built on this firm foundation of a relationship with Jesus Christ can make and how exciting it is to see God change us from the inside out. Facilitator: Mark Lockard Location: Northeast part of the sanctuary
The Good and Beautiful Life (Putting on the Character of Christ) — Women’s Group — How can we live a victorious life freed from anger, lust, deception, pride, worry, or greed? This follow-up book to The Good and Beautiful God examines the root of these character flaws and helps us replace our false notions with Jesus’ teaching about life. Aimed at real transformation, each chapter includes a ‘soul-training exercise’ to help us work biblical truths into our lives (as well as our minds). NOTE: Participants should expect to spend at least an hour/week in personal preparation. Books cost $10. Facilitator: Peggy Heid Location: East Commons
A Study of 1 Corinthians — This study offers practical help for living a transformed life in the midst of a broken world. The Christians of the early church faced the same questions and struggles that we face today. The group will help you understand the Word of God and apply it to your life.
Facilitator: Ted Zellmer Location: Northwest part of the sanctuary
Heaven — What is Heaven really going to be like? What will we look like? What will we do? Won’t Heaven get boring after a while? We all have questions and this class has answers. Drawing on Biblical research from Randy Alcorn’s book, Heaven, this group will bring eternity to light in a way that will surprise you, spark your imagination, and change how you live today.
Facilitator: Bryan Gilbert Location: Southwest part of the sanctuary
The Case for Christ — This study invites participants to investigate the fascinating historical evidence about Jesus. What you discover can transform your relationship with Christ and equip you to help others along their spiritual journey.
Facilitators: Randy Henry & Robb Beebe Location: West Commons

“I have brought you glory on earth by doing the work you gave me to do.”
John 17:4
Just for laughs
“I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road. The reason: ‘Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don’t think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore!’”
