Special Announcements
WOMEN’S BOOK DISCUSSION: The discussion on the book Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is this Monday, June 14th, at 7 p.m. at Teresa Haffner’s home. If you have questions or need directions, you can reach Teresa at 540-3887.
YOUTH CAR WASH: Our youth are having a car wash at the Harrisonville Auto Zone this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to raise money for Challenge. Be sure to stop by and get a clean car for a good cause, or jump in and lend a hand washing some cars!
BABY DEDICATION: We will be having another baby dedication on Father’s Day during the morning worship service. If you are interested in dedicating your baby, please contact the church office (380-2422) as soon as possible.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT: If you want your dad’s picture to be a part of the Father’s Day worship service, we need your digital pictures of him with the kids by this Sunday, June 13th. These can be current or past photos. Please email your favorites to Barb at barb.c.savage@gmail.com.
CORNERSTONE CONNECT: If you are a newcomer to Cornerstone, we invite you to take a closer look at our church by attending “Cornerstone Connect” this Sunday, June 13th, at 9:30 a.m. (during the Bible class time.) This informal discussion is a chance for you to learn more about Cornerstone’s vision and values, and also about the opportunities available to you here at the church. The group will meet in Pastor Tom’s office.
COMMUNION THIS SUNDAY: This Sunday we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper during the worship service. Afterwards, there will be men at the doors of the worship center to take a love offering that will be used to help those in our body who have financial needs.

Angel Food Order Date: Friday, June 18th from 3-6 p.m. Internet orders will be taken until Saturday, June 19th.
Larry DeLawder at Stony Point Christian Church: Larry DeLawder (the Barney Fife impersonator and harmonica player who was here last year) will be performing at Stony Point Christian Church in Kansas City on Saturday, June 27th. It will be held in outside in a park area at the church, and will start with a potluck at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to attend, you may contact Beth Zans at 278-6742.
