Some run away at the sight of a challenge.
Others pursue the opportunity and run to the roar.
These are the Lion Chasers.
You are more than you think you are.
You are made for more than you think you are.
YOU can be a Lion Chaser.
Lion chasers learn to thrive in an atmosphere of hostility.
Lion chasers are known by their character.
When lion chasers become the hunted:
They do not try to escape the consequences of their decisions.
They don’t try to make deals with God.
Lion chasers are never alone with the lions in the den.
God doesn’t always lead us to a stunning victory, but he always calls us to be heroic.
“…destitute, destitute, persecuted and mistreated—the world was not worthy of them.” Hebrews 11:32-33
“Lord, I do not ask for easy victories, but for the courage to chase the lions you call me to pursue. When I become the hunted, I thank you that my life is in your hands and that I have nothing to fear because all my days are appointed by you. You are with me. Make me like Daniel. May my colors be clear so that everyone will know that I belong to you. I do not pray for a den of lions, but I pray for courage to go there if need be. I pray whether by life or by death, I will be heroic. Above all else, may your strength and character be seen in me. I pray this in the name of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Amen.”
