As the sun comes out, often church attendance starts to go down - and with it spiritual discipline, progress, and enthusiasm. We want to challenge you to avoid the Summer Slump! Believe it or not, there are only 13 Sundays between June 1 & August 31. Which means it's both easy to miss most of the summer OR easy to stay connected most of the summer.
We challenge you to commit to stay connected by deciding now to be at Cornerstone at least 9 of 13 Sundays this summer. That's about 75% of the time!
Join us Sunday as we take communion. Yes, it can be different being at home, but we aren't going to let that stop us! Get your crackers and juice ready or whatever you have at home! If you are in-person the elements will be provided for you. We cannot wait to share this moment with you either way!

For thousands of years, the Church has continued a practice called communion, or depending on different church traditions, the Lord’s Supper or the Eucharist. Communion uses bread as a symbol for Jesus’ body and wine as a symbol for His blood.
How is it possible that the situation you've prayed for—the one you dreamed and hoped for—seems more like a lost cause than ever? Many of us have faced this reality... praying for a child, for a marriage, for an opportunity—and yet it seems like it will never come to pass. But it’s in those moments that we can take heart, because God does his best work while it’s still dark.

In less than one week’s time, people went from confidently praising Jesus as the Messiah on Palm Sunday to completely questioning everything they knew about him on Maundy Thursday. Does that sound familiar? The truth is that there is nothing new about having doubts. And there is nothing new when it comes to how we should deal with our doubt.
Here’s the fact of the matter—Jesus is King. Right here, right now. His coronation isn’t off in the distance, one day when “every knee will bow and every tongue confess.” He’s already inaugurated and initiated his Kingdom…and he did it in the most unexpected way imaginable.
This is Palm Sunday Weekend, when we remember and celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry to Jerusalem and launch into Holy Week! You don't want to miss a moment of the week that changed the whole world for all time!

“The best is yet to come!” This statement has often been a popular rallying cry, especially for the Church. It’s a declaration rooted in the belief that God has great things in store for his people just beyond the horizon. And it’s a sentiment we’ve shared and stated here at Cornerstone...but, not anymore. Of course, we still believe the future is bright. But who has time for what’s to come when we’re too busy being blessed by what is? You see, the best isn’t just “yet to come”—it’s here and now! God is on the move, and he is doing a new thing now, in the midst of our present circumstances. Instead of focusing on the future, we’re determined to fix our attention and follow God’s lead, right here and right now.
We began a journey as a church three years ago—a journey to transform our current facility into an improved ministry space…a space that would allow us to grow in impact and influence. Now here we are almost three years later, so close to seeing much of this dream become a reality. We’ve been targeting a goal of raising $1,000,000 during the three years of our “Here & Now” Building Campaign - and we’re almost there!

We invite you to participate in a self-guided reflection Wednesday, February 14 between 6 AM - 6 PM as we contemplate our need for and our hope in the Savior of the world. We will provide an intimate environment for personal meditation and prayer time to spend closely with the Father, followed by the placing the ash elements. Begin this season of repentance at Cornerstone - and finish together in the victory of the cross and resurrection soon to come!

Has anyone ever told you they have good news—but then they start talking? And as they do, you realize this “good news” isn’t actually that GOOD. That’s what happened 2,000 years ago at a church in the city of Galatia. The Good News of the Gospel message was being distorted and mangled into something different—something that was not the Gospel. In an effort to fight this fake news, the Apostle Paul wrote that church a letter, calling them back to the true Gospel…a letter we know as the biblical book of Galatians. Now here we are 2,000 years later, and Paul’s call back to the centrality of the Gospel is as timely today as it was then—a much-needed reminder of why the Gospel is Good News.
